White City Futbol Club is a volunteer organization that organizes indoor and outdoor recreational soccer for White City and Emerald Park residents. The outdoor season runs May and June with registration in March. The indoor season runs October to March with registration in September.

Important Notice - Annual General Meeting
The WCFC would like to remind the soccer families in the community that the AGM is this week.
It will be held Wednesday, February 25th, at Emerald Ridge School
All parents and guardians are encouraged to attend.
The AGM is an important opportunity to:
Hear updates on Club operations and finances
Help shape priorities for the upcoming season
Share feedback and ideas
Participate in key Club decisions

WCFC is currently looking to fill vacant Board positions that are critical to the ongoing operation of the Club.
As a volunteer-run organization, our ability to offer soccer programming depends on parent involvement. Without sufficient Board members, the Club’s capacity to deliver programs for the 2026 season may be impacted.
We recognize that families are busy. many roles can be shared, and mentorship/transition support is available. Whether you can contribute a little time or take on a larger role, your involvement makes a meaningful difference for all players.

2026 Outdoor Season Registration
2026 Outdoor Season Registration
Registration for the upcoming outdoor soccer season is now open! We are eager to get the season underway and welcome both returning players and newcomers to join us for a fun season this spring.
We offer 4U-18U for the outdoor season and games start in early May and the season runs until the end of June.
If you haven't already, please download the TeamLinkt app as we use it as our main source of communication for team messages, game cancellations etc. once the season is underway.
To register your child, please follow these steps:

Create a TeamLinkt account if you don’t already have one.
Complete the registration form with your details.
Submit the registration fee through the secure payment system.
Please ensure that you complete the registration process by March 31, 2026 to secure your child’s spot for the season.

WCFC is in Need of a new Board Member
WCFC has provided the children in this community the chance to play recreational soccer for over 15 years, and it has always proven to be an inexpensive option for families looking to provide the physical and social benefits of team sport to the next generation. This would not have been possible without the continued volunteer effort of people in this community.
WCFC is in critical need of a volunteer to fill the board position of Equipment Manager.
If your child is interested in recreational soccer please consider volunteering for this available opening in order to keep WCFC operating. Without continued volunteer support WCFC will not be able to continue operating.
Equipment Manager:
Tasks:
Maintaining the inventory of jerseys, balls, and all other equipment
Making equipment recommendations to the board
Preparing equipment bags for distribution to teams before the season
Attending occasional board meetings throughout the year.
Commitment:
approximately 3-4 hours a month, several additional hours at season beginning and end

WCFC at Risk
WCFC would like to thank all past board members for volunteering their time and effort to keep WCFC operating over the past 15+ years. WCFC has provided the children in this community the chance to play recreational soccer for much of the year, and it has always proven to be an inexpensive option for families looking to provide the physical and social benefits of team sport to the next generation. This would not have been possible without the continued volunteer effort of people in this community.
WCFC is in critical need of a volunteer to fill the board position of Treasurer. This position needs to be filled for WCFC to continue to operate past June 2025.
If your child is interested in recreational soccer please consider volunteering for one the available openings in order to keep WCFC operating. Without continued volunteer support WCFC will have to begin the process of closing down and cancelling all future outdoor and indoor seasons.

Call for Board Members
The White City Futbol Club has numerous board positions that need to be filled in order to continue to operate. If you have a child interested in playing soccer this year please consider volunteering for any of the following positions.
Treasurer:
Tasks:
Reconciling bank records,
Issuing payments,
Monthly financial records
Year end financial statements
Commitment:
approximately 3-4 hours a month, several additional hours at year end.
Member at Large:
Tasks:
Assisting Equipment manager with distribution and collection of equipment
Miscellaneous tasks throughout the season that may be identified by the board
Assisting with the organization of the year end tournament
Commitment:
Approximately 3 hours per month and several hours during the week of the tournament
In addition board members are expected to attend the few local meetings throughout the year and may be asked to assist with occasional weekend supervision of the indoor season facilities in Balgonie.
WCFC also hosts the end of your tournament/jamboree every second year in June. This will require a commitment of approximately 10 to 15 hours from each board member that week to organize the canteen and associated tournament tasks.
